In 2009, Dr. Goldsmith received the Gold Medal from the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry for his contributions to victims of domestic abuse through cosmetic dentistry.  His implant dentistry skills include: 3D-digital guided dental implant placement for a single tooth, multiple teeth, full arch, all-on-four, sinus/gum/bone grafting, and sinus augmentation; all with IV or oral sedation administration. Dr. Goldsmith is a Gold-level provider with Biohorizons implant company featuring American-made titanium implants.

What to Expect

First Time at Northshore Dental?

Patient Experience

When you first walk through our doors, you’ll be greeted by our comfortable environment and our friendly office staff. We invite you to sit down and relax as you fill out any new patient forms prior to your appointment. Once those are complete and your hygienist is ready for you, we will invite you back into one of our operatories.

You will receive a cleaning, comprehensive exam, x-rays, and your doctor will sit down with you to discuss the results. If everything looks good, we are able to schedule your next appointment in the front office. If anything needs extra attention, your doctor will explain the results and take time to address any questions or concerns you might have. They will describe any further treatment recommendations.

What to Bring

In order to streamline your experience, we ask that you bring your ID, your insurance information, and any patient forms you have filled out prior to your appointment.

Office Comforts and Technology

At Northshore Dental, your comfort is our top priority. We believe your whole visit should be enjoyable, from the minutes you spend in the waiting room to your time in our operatories. We’ve curated our space to offer you the best amenities and technology dentistry has to offer to promote your overall well-being.

Starbucks Coffee Machine & Beverage Station

There’s nothing quite like arriving a few minutes early for your appointment and sitting down with a free cup of Starbucks Coffee in a relaxing environment.

Massage Chairs & Essential Oils

We know you would probably rather be going to the spa than to the dentist. At Northshore Dental, you can get the best of both worlds: a relaxing, spa-like environment and a healthy, vibrant smile!

Headphones, Eye Masks & Earplugs

At Northshore Dental, we encourage you to use your appointment as a relaxing break from the busyness of your day. Put on some headphones, earplugs, and eye mask, and relax!

Intraoral Scanners

Intraoral scanner technology allows us to get highly accurate 3D images of the contours and shape of your teeth for specific treatment planning and diagnosis.

3D CBCT Scanner

3D CBCT scans help us to capture the details that normal x-rays might miss: teeth, soft tissue, nerve pathways, and bone.

Digital Cameras

Using our digital cameras, we are able to capture high-definition images of your smile for better treatment planning and tracking.

Giving Back to Our Community

Local Partnerships

Our philosophy of care goes beyond the office walls. We believe that it’s our responsibility to care for our patients, both in and out of the operating chair, and one of the best ways to do this is through our community outreach programs. We partner with local elementary and high schools, as well as the local cancer society, to provide dental care for underserved populations.
